Who we are

United Safe Environment Creators is a grassroots, non-profit, community-based organization run by refugees in the Kakuma refugee camp. It started in 2015 and was registered under the Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Service with reg. SCSDO/CBO/BO-201 and certificate no. 38613.
We are a group of dynamic and passionate refugees committed to creating a better future for ourselves and our communities. Our organization was founded in the Kakuma refugee camp in Kenya, and we are proud to be a community-based initiative that addresses crucial issues such as education, livelihood, and child protection. We collaborate with the Global Family Reunification Network (FRUN) to reconnect separated children with their families, ensuring every child has a safe, loving environment where they thrive. We have recently joined the UNHCR EHAGL Regional Community-Based Protection Network (R-CBPN) to improve the provision of basic protection and assistance services to vulnerable, forcibly displaced populations and individuals affected by serious human rights violations.

Mission: To empower refugees through access to education, livelihood initiatives, and environmental sustainability to foster a safe and prosperous future for all.

Vision: A world where refugees and marginalized communities have access to quality education and sustainable livelihood opportunities and live in a safe environment to thrive and contribute positively to society.

General Objective
To provide inclusive education, strengthen child protection, support sustainable livelihoods, and promote environmental conservation to ensure safety, dignity, and self-reliance for refugees and their communities.

Specific Objectives
