Support a Brighter Future for Refugee Families in Kakuma and Kalobeyei

At United Safe Environment Creators (USEC), we are a refugee-led organization working at the heart of Kakuma Refugee Camp and Kalobeyei Settlement. Every day, we empower children, women, and families with the tools they need to build safe, self-reliant, and dignified lives.

💡 Our Vision for 2030:
USEC is committed to transforming lives through education, protection, and livelihoods. Here's how your support will make a difference:

📚 EDUCATION: From Early Learning to Lifelong Skills

We're building an inclusive education system where refugee and host community learners thrive—from age 4 to adulthood. Through our Bright Beginning program, more than 3,000 children will gain foundational learning, integrated with social emotional learning, while 600+ parents, teachers, and community leaders will be trained on positive parenting to support ongoing education.

🛡️ PROTECTION: Safeguarding the Future of children and adolescents Girls and boys

Children and Adolescent girls and boys face growing risks in fragile environments. With your help, we'll create child friendly  spaces (CFS) benefiting over 3000 children, 800 adolescents girls and boys with gender-based violence prevention, mental health education, and sexual and reproductive health programs. Our goal: a 50%+ increase in community resilience and preparedness.

🧵 LIVELIHOODS: Skills for Income and Independence

We equip refugee parents—especially mothers—with the technical and business skills to earn income and uplift their families. Vocational training in sewing, tailoring, and entrepreneurship. Seed capital and mentorship help turn ideas into small businesses.

👐 Why We Need You
Due to severe funding cuts and shrinking aid, many refugee families—especially those in DA categories 3 and 4—are excluded from basic support. Your contribution will directly fund programs that fill this critical gap, helping vulnerable families transition from survival to stability.
✅ $25 trains one mother in vocational skills
✅ $50 supports a child’s early education for a year
✅ $200 helps launch a small business for a refugee graduate
